Founded 1740. A private Institution and member of the Ivy League, the University was the first College to instruct students in Science, Economics, Modern Languages, Public Law and Applied Mathematics. Became the Nation's first University 1779. It has 4 undergraduate and 12 graduate and professional Schools, all sharing the same Campus.
